Eleanor Louise Isert, 89 of Appleton, WI, formerly of Moberly, MO, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018. She was born October 15, 1928 in Salisbury, MO to Wm. T “Mac” and Eva (Schnetzler) Spence.
Eleanor married George Isert on September 25, 1948 in Moberly and he preceded her in death on June 16, 2013. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a brother Billie Spence.
Survivors include her children, Linda Douglas and her husband Bill of Appleton, WI and Larry Isert and his wife Tammi of Albany, GA, four grandchildren, Libby Schweitzer, Emily Navarro and her husband Ernesto, Annie Isert and Sam Isert, three great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Schweitzer and Eliza and Will Navarro, a niece and a nephew.
Memorial contributions to the First Christian Church or the Renaissance Assisted Living would be appreciated.
Services honoring and celebrating Eleanor’s life were held at the First Christian Church, Moberly; Committal prayers and burial followed in the Asbury Cemetery,Keytesville, MO.
