Doris J. Lewis, 90, of Macon, MO died January 11, 2019. She was born February 4, 1928 in St Louis, MO to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Koebbe) Cusack.
She was self-employed for 28 years as a beautician.
Doris married Billy Lewis and to that union a son, Edward C. Lewis, was born. Billy preceded her in death. Doris then married Jim Duvall and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Edward Charles Lewis and his wife Alice of Wright City, MO. Grandchildren: Christine Marie Lewis of Columbia, MO, Edward Nicholas “Nick” Lewis and his wife Rebecca of New Braunsfel, TX, Elizabeth Ann “Beth” Muse and her husband Nathan of Poplar Bluff, MO. Great-grandchildren: Allison Marie Treen, Anastasian Rose Lewis, Edward Austin Lewis, and Gracie Ann-Marie Muse.
Services honoring and celebrating Doris’s life were held at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayers and burial followed in the Oakland Cemetery.
