Bruce Wemhoff

Bruce Wemhoff, 60, of Moberly, died Friday, November 2, 2018. He was born November 24, 1957 in Moberly, Missouri to Vincent Joseph and Leila Katharine (Short) Wemhoff.

Bruce graduated from Moberly High School in 1976, and worked many years at the Thomas Hill Powerplant.

He married Diana Hunsaker on April 30, 1983 in Moberly and she preceded him in death on October 25, 2003. Also preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his children; Kimberly Gibson and her husband Aaron, of Columbia, MO. Shannon Orscheln and his wife Stephanie, Jessica Morris and her husband Jordan, Leslie Wemhoff all of Moberly, and Fancy Clickner of Holts Summit, Missouri, fourteen grandchildren, four brothers; Don Wemhoff and his wife Donna of Columbia, Merl Wemhoff and his wife Linda of Clark, Kenny Wemhoff and his wife Diana of Moberly, and Stanley Wemhoff of Moberly, a sister Beth Johnson and her husband Jay of Atlanta, Georgia, four uncles Ray and Gerard Wemhoff, Gary and Bob Short, his parents-in-law Bob and Norma Hunsaker of Moberly, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including his best friend Bruce DeJonge.

Bruce enjoyed hunting quail and pheasant, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Memorial contributions to Quail Forever would be appreciated.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at the St. Pius X Catholic Church. Committal prayers and burial followed in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
